Connecting the NovaPay Payment System
NovaPay (Nova Group) is a payment system and internet acquiring service that lets you accept online payments by card and popular methods directly in your BooStore shop. The integration is already built into the platform: just get access from NovaPay and add the keys in the method settings — and the payment method will appear in the checkout form.

What NovaPay is and when to connect it
NovaPay is internet acquiring from Nova Group, closely integrated with the Nova Poshta ecosystem. The payment system supports Visa, Mastercard and Prostir cards, as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay and the NovaPay quick payment button.
💳 Low commission
The payment system commission is 0–1.3%. When paying with a NovaPay card, the commission is 0%.
Step-by-step NovaPay connection
To connect the payment system, contact NovaPay (Nova Group) to get access to internet acquiring. After connection you will receive the data for integration.
- Contact NovaPay (Nova Group) and get access to internet acquiring.
- Obtain the merchant private RSA key (PEM) and the NovaPay public key (PEM).
- In the Admin Panel go to "Shop" → "Payment Systems" and click "Add Payment Method".
- Select NovaPay. The
Account / Merchant IDfield can be left empty — nothing has to be entered. - Save the method's contact information, then click the settings button (gear icon).
- In the popup, specify the merchant RSA private key (PEM) and the NovaPay public key (PEM, for webhook).
- Specify the environment URL: test —
https://api-qecom.novapay.ua, production —https://api-ecom.novapay.ua. - Save the method — once filled in, it will be available in the checkout form.

All additional NovaPay features are managed by the settings button of the payment method. Below are the main parameters.

Payment cancellation, hold and express waybill
For NovaPay, payment cancellation (void/refund) in the sales statistics is implemented, as well as hold handling (complete-hold / void).
- Cancellation and refund — available directly in the sales statistics; cancellation information is recorded in the order.
- Hold — funds are frozen on the customer's card, then you can confirm the charge (complete-hold) or cancel it (void). The hold is kept for up to 29 days.
- Express waybill — integration with the Nova Poshta TTN: you can pick up an existing waybill from the order or create a new NovaPay waybill.
Built into BooStore
The NovaPay payment system is already built into the platform — no separate service or manual code setup is needed. Just:
- Get internet acquiring access from NovaPay (Nova Group).
- Add the payment method and specify the RSA key and NovaPay public key in the settings.
- Choose the payment type, mode, express waybill and payment methods in the settings.

How do I connect the NovaPay payment system?

Which operating modes are available?
Two modes: acquiring (v1/session) and checkout (v1/checkout/session). The checkout mode additionally allows creating an express TTN waybill.
What is an express waybill and which options are there?
An express waybill is handling of the Nova Poshta TTN. The options are: none (do not create), existing (pick up the waybill from the order) and create (create a NovaPay waybill).
Is PRRO supported and in which currency are settlements made?
PRRO is supported — the order composition is passed in products in add-payment. Settlements are made in UAH only. Subscriptions and recurring payments are not supported.
